If you have a father, a mother, a sister, a brother, or a friend, then you are not far from someone who has served.
SGV Front Line is a program of NAMI San Gabriel Valley with the support of the American Legion Family, Pasadena, Post 13. We are volunteers who have veterans as family members or who are veterans ourselves.
We host seven to eight community forum events every year, featuring speakers and programs relevant to the military experience, with an emphasis on health, along with a casual dinner, always free of charge.
We publish a newsletter featuring resources, and news and announcements of interest to veterans, their families, and the community.
Our vision is to host support/discussion groups for veterans who are experiencing PTSD and other service related challenges, facilitated by veterans with lived experience of deployment, and skill at facilitating supportive groups.
We maintain a website with a list of resources for veterans, with an emphasis on local and non-government provided services.
Sign up for our newsletter, attend our speaker dinners, and let us know if you are interested volunteering to speak, or if you have other ideas you'd like to share with us.
Our two to four page newsletter features service providers for veterans and families, announces community events around the San Gabriel Valley, and provides useful information. We publish the newsletter eight times a year.
